Ok, so this is the last time I will be putting these pics up, they're not finished yet but I needed to even out this blog from all the kidsy stuff. I will put up some cafe sketches next.

I was contracted to Art direct K-Zone magazine for about 4-5 months, the southern hemispheres top kids mag. It was interesting to say the least... I'm the guy with the Wolvie claws... hey I'm a comic nerd how could I resist?

A comic for 'Total Girl' magazine...

While I'm in the black and white mood, I'll put this up. A job for a talented young director Luke Baker who needed storyboards and style boards for a Sony video clip. I originally made it into the video but I think I forgot to cover the VB logo on my beer can and I got cut out... at least that's what Luke tells me.

The final pic had the knife taken out as it was for a tv cooking show and they didn't want to send the wrong message, fair enough but I kinda liked it like this.. dose this mean I'm a bad person mum?

This job was a done as a 12 sec animation for channel 10's 'Rove live' back in 2005.

Whilst working in-house at Pacific Magazines as a designer, I was fortunate enough to get a few freelance illustration jobs this one was for Girlfriend magazine.

These guys were done for Streets Paddle pop as part of an ad in Kz-one and Total girl magazine

And the winner is....

These were done for a marketing/branding company. These images can also be seen on the side of the company van as well as merchandise.

Hello, I figured I'd clean out the closet a bit first and air out some old work.This is from back before computers replaced my pencil and paper and I was using good old coloured pencil and airbrush...

All fixed for the moment,Thanx for your patience, I'll start putting up stuff again soon.

I don't know who's crazy idea it was that these guys should be the vessel of childhood humor, they scared the crap out of me more than shadows or dad's songs first thing in the morning

Back again, only a 15 minutes spent on this but getting there. I'll put up some published work over the next few days and leave the sketches for a while...

Here's the next installment. I might have to take a vote (as soon as someone actually discovers this page) because my original intention was to keep the hair flat with no detail but I'll keep going in this direction to see what happens and put both up for comparison.
